Twenty-something years ago (I think that I was in 1st grade when this started), my Garmie and Pappy decided that the family (their 6 kids + their families) would get together for one weekend in September, every year, at one of five Indiana State Parks. I have so many fond memories with Garmie, Pappy, aunts, uncles and cousins that center around this weekend - family hikes, late nights staying up playing Euchre, family pictures that grew bigger and bigger, and Pappy cutting the hotel's flowers up in Pokagon with a pair of scissors that he just happened to be carrying around in his pocket.
The last reunion that I attended was in 2009, right before I moved out to California. Bill and I decided to get crazy and make the long-drive up to Indiana for the 2013 reunion at Brown County State Park.
All of Garmie and Pappy's great-grandchildren were present so one of our main goals for the weekend was to get a picture of all them together. This was not an easy task. Enjoy a few outtakes...

We enjoyed spending time with family, and this trip definitely left me looking forward to our trip home for the holidays.
