August was pretty uneventful for the Ferguson family. I was finally back at work full-time after working part-time for 3-4 weeks and frantically trying to get full-time daycare for Izzy. We put her on the waiting list not long after we found out that we were pregnant, but due to staffing shortages we were not able to get a full-time spot at the end of my 6 weeks of maternity leave. My mom came down and watched Izzy for a week, much to Hank's dismay because he had to go to daycare and didn't get to stay home with his May-me. We used the hourly care on post for a couple weeks and then finally got a full-time spot during the first week of August. Louisiana weather is exceptionally hot and humid in August so we spent quite a bit of time in the air conditioning and a fair amount of time at the pool.

It's amazing how much newborns change in just a few months. Enjoy these pictures of Izzy at a little over 2 months old. I couldn't pick just a few...
